Stan started his magic career in 1969. In 1970 he became a member of the Academy of Magical Arts at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California – a private club whose members are considered the top magicians in the world. By 1973, Stan was a regular performer in the Castle’s “Close up Parlour.” Stan had the opportunity of studying under such great magicians as Toni Slydini and Dai Vernon. Vernon, known in the magic circles as “The Professor,” said after observing one of Stan’s shows, “That was a four star show if I ever saw one.” Stan is also a member of The London England Magic Circle, The International Brotherhood of Magicians (Order of Merlin) and the Society of American Magicians. He was a close friend of world famous magician Doug Henning, and together they spent countless hours perfecting their craft.
